Cadenhead is reputable independent bottler.
Heaven Hill is a good distillery who makes Rittenhouse, Pikesville, Elijah Craig, Parker’s Heritage, Evan Williams etc.
A bourbon with a 12 year old age statement is not common.
46% ABV is not bad.
The mashbill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley. So it’s a wheater if that’s what you’re into.
$189 shipped is pretty good in todays market; for example Weller 12, which is also a wheater (undisclosed mashbill) is $400+, and William Larue Weller is about $3k.
Indies are always a gamble, but this is a gamble I’m willing to take.
