The Coolest TVs for the Outdoors

TV screens are notoriously bad in sunlight. Have too much of it in your room, and suddenly, you can barely see anything. While it’s true that TVs have gotten better about this issue in recent years, if you take a regular TV out in the sun, you’re not going to get the same results as you will with a TV conceived with the outdoors in mind.

Samsung is pushing deals on both its full-sun and partial-sun TVs. Samsung’s The Terrace Full Sun Outdoor QLED 4K Smart TVs are off between $2000 and $3000, while the Partial Sun TVs are down between $500 and $1,000 depending on the size.

The Full Sun TVs come with direct sun protection technology, resulting in an anti-glare TV screen with an IP55 weather-resistance rating. This means you can enjoy your TV in all weather without worrying about sun exposure.

The screen is bright and colorful no matter how bright the sun is on that specific day, which is something you should consider.

The Partial Sun TVs also come with an IP55 rating for protection against water and dust. However, the screen performs better on a patio than out into the garden. Either way, both are great solutions.
