Katie Moussouris #ALD21 @findingada
Working with the U.S. Department of Defense, Moussouris was instrumental in building the government’s first bug bounty program, “Hack the Pentagon.” She followed it with “Hack the Airforce.” The initiatives were part of her work as chief policy officer as vulnerability disclosure company, HackerOne. Previously, she led Microsoft Vulnerability Research, creating research initiatives including the company’s bug bounty program. Through Luta Security, she continues to advise governments and organizations on vulnerability disclosure programs and bug bounty programs, including the U.S. National Body of the International Standards Organization.
