Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers beer named Cry Baby 12 now on tap
MANITOWOC – The Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers saga of 2021 has now spilled over into the form of beer.
The Fat Seagull shared a Facebook post of its beer, Cry Baby 12. Posted on Monday, the beer is described as an “exclusive new Point amber named by The Fat Seagull and only available at The Fat Seagull.”
Using a name like Cry Baby 12 — written in green against a gold background on a tap handle, lest there be any confusion about whom the beer is meant to reference — seems to indicate the owners are on Team Packers in the stalemate with its MVP quarterback. However, in a reply to a commenter’s post ”Embarrassing” The Fat Seagull replied “It’s all in good fun! We do have a sense of humor.”
Comments have been mixed including “Now thats a beer I need to try! #GoBears” and “How dumb. I could see a bar in Illinois doing this, but it’s pretty lame that a place in Wisconsin would do it.”
One commenter suggested the name should be Tears of Twelve.
Screen captures of the post have been making rounds on Twitter.
Though with a name like Cry Baby 12, it’s not exactly uniting an already divided fan base on the subject.
