Prince Harry reconnects with father at Philip’s funeral just a month after he revealed Charles wasn’t taking his phone calls
Prince Harry and his father, Prince Charles, appear to be on the road to reconciliation with the two planning to spend time together in coming days, according to royal sources.
On Saturday, royals put aside their many differences as they mourned the death of 99-year-old Prince Philip at his funeral.

Prince Harry has reportedly been estranged from his family ever since he stepped down from royal duties in January last year, but reconnected with his older brother William at the funeral.
Now it appears that Harry will also reconnect with his father Prince Charles, during his brief visit to the UK.
“There has been talk that Charles will walk around Windsor with Harry to look at some of the tributes and spend some time together,” an inside source told the UK’s Mail Online.
Harry can leave at anytime to be back at his wife Meghan’s side, who is heavily pregnant at their Los Angeles home.
But instead, it appears he wants to experience some quality father-son time.
At the funeral, Prince Charles’ grief was evident in emotional scenes where the heir to the throne visibly held back tears.
Harry hasn’t seen his father since March last year, when he and his wife Meghan Markle left to go to Canada after leaving behind their royal responsibilities.
In an explosive interview with Oprah last month, Harry confirmed to the world that he was having father issues.
He said his father hadn’t been returning his calls ever since his announcement that he would no longer have a royal title.
“When we were in Canada I had three conversations with my grandmother and two conversations with my father before he stopped taking my calls,” Harry said in the interview.
“There’s a lot to work through there.”
“I feel really let down because he’s been through something similar,” he continued, likely referencing the death of Princess Diana, Prince Charles’s first wife.
“He knows what pain feels like. And Archie’s his grandson. But at the same time, I will always love him. But there’s a lot of hurt that’s happened. And I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship.”
There was also speculation that Charles was the one behind the racist comment directed at Harry’s future son.
Meghan revealed in the same bombshell interview the the royal family discussed “how dark his (their son Archie’s) skin might be”.
However, since then, it has been widely reported that it was Charles’ younger sister Anne who made the comment.
The raw emotion of the funeral clearly brought all the royals together, with Harry reportedly burying the hatchet with his older brother William.
The estranged brothers were spotted walking and chatting together, along with William’s wife Kate, right outside the church.
Harry went to thank the Archbishop of Canterbury outside the church and then went over to speak with Kate, the duchess of Cambridge, where he was joined by his brother William.
