Other roles include junior positions in TikTok’s marketing, content development and creative strategy teams.
A review of open graduate positions on TikTok’s student recruitment site shows that London is the leading international office for graduate recruitment at the company, ahead of offices in Singapore, Berlin, Dublin and Paris.
The job ads show the business plans to continue to grow its London office, despite the company’s rescue deal struck with American software business Oracle last month, seemingly indicating that the US would be TikTok’s major international headquarters.
Steven Mnuchin, the US Treasury Secretary, said he had received a “commitment” from TikTok to create 20,000 new jobs in the US.
The pledge came after the US government threatened to block Apple and Google from offering downloads of the app over national security concerns which TikTok has disputed.
The Telegraph reported earlier this year that Government ministers were divided on whether to welcome TikTok’s expansion in the UK due to rising trade tensions between the UK and China.
TikTok’s parent company ByteDance has been seeking new 30,000 sq ft offices in the capital as it plans to treble the number of people it employs in the UK to 1,000.
