Lil Uzi Vert has just beamed down at the no. 1 spot on the Billboard charts with his latest album, Eternal Atake.
With an unexpected drop, a week earlier than its scheduled date, the album managed 288,000 equivalent album units in its first week. This logs in as the second-biggest week in sales in 2020.
The album also becomes the highest-streamed project of the year. 278,000 of its SEA-units configures to a 400 million on-demand streams. It’s the fourth-largest streaming week ever for an album, and the largest week for any album since 2018 ( Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V).
This marks Uzi’s second no. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 following Luv Is Rage 2 in 2017. On Friday (March 13), he released the deluxe version Luv vs. The World 2. Until next time, congrats!
